Found an interesting email in my IN BOX the other day.
Seems someone decided to dress up not as themselves, but anonymously dress up as someone different. Once they were sure no one would know who they were, they hid behind the fruit bowl and flung fruit. (Oh wait, that was a scene from "Mrs. Doubtfire", one of my favorite movies) The fruit wasn't thrown at me directly, but at friends of mine. For some reason this person decided EVERYONE should know how they feel.
I was very entertained. These types of anonymous "venting" have no effect on me, other than to laugh. Someone who hides behind "the curtain" (Oh wait, that was a scene from "The Wizard of OZ", another one of my favorite movies) gets no cred with me. And if you're a Christian it even isn't Scriptural. (Oh wait, that is a verse in the Bible, my favorite book.)
As you may or may not know, I umpire baseball. I have done high school, college, legion, etc. over the last 28 years. During our pregame conference with the coaches, I encourage them, if they have a question, to call time out and come out and ask. A coach who chips from the dugout anonymously gets no respect and is shutdown real fast. But, a coach that comes out to argue a call respectfully usually gets to see the last inning. These "discussions' usually deal with a 'point-of-view'. They have one and I have one ......... (Oh wait, I'm a little off topic, but baseball is one of my favorite sports ...)
If I knew who you were I'd say all of this directly to you, respectfully of course. An exchange of ideas so to speak.
Since I can't, I'll just ignore it, other than the entertainment value.....

Nicely put!
I'm pretty sure I couldn't have said it better. Besides, I've had enough of "third party offenses." :)
